WAY OF LIFE

Called to total dedication to the Triune GOD, we commit ourselves to live the spirit of the gospel through the vows of consecrated chastity, evangelical poverty, and religious obedience.

We commit our lives and our gifts to the mission of the Catholic Church.

The Eucharist
The Source, Center, and Summit of our way of life.

THE PILLARS

PRAYER
We deepen our love and intimacy with the LORD through prayer, the sacraments, and devotion to Mary. The Eucharistic celebration is the source and center of our lives and ministry.
Mindful of this, we participate in the celebration of Mass daily.
We have an extended time of Eucharistic adoration daily, both in the morning and evening.
Through the Liturgy of the Hours, specifically Morning, Evening and Night Prayer, we continue the prayer of JESUS in His Body, the Church.
Contemplative prayer is an essential of Dominican life as our motto indicates, "To give to others the fruits of contemplation." We spend an hour a day in personal prayer and devote ourselves regularly to spiritual reading with emphasis on Scripture.
The Rosary is prayed daily as a community. We conclude Night Prayer with the singing of the Salve Regina (Hail Holy Queen).
COMMUNITY
We live in community, each Sister developing and using her gifts and sharing them for the good of the whole community.

Through the common life in which we share prayer, meals, housing, material goods and leisure, we express our loving care and concern for each other and help to build that community which reflects God's love in action.
The religious dress of our community consists of a white habit with a scapular, black veil and rosary. White is a symbol of purity and black is a symbol of penitence.
MINISTRY
The Church, as the Body of Christ, is the source of our mission. Our charism is encouraging spiritual growth and renewal.

We offer our ministry especially in the areas of spiritual talks, retreats, parish missions, intercessory and healing prayer and spiritual direction.

STUDY
In the study of Divine Truth, we strive to open ourselves to the wisdom of GOD as it is transmitted through scripture and teachings of the Church in order to serve God's people.
